Dr. Santiago Gangotena
Dr. Santiago Gangotena is Secretary of the Board of Directors. He is a professor of economics at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and vice president of Corporación de Promoción Universitaria, a non profit whose purpose is to support USFQ’s mission of liberal arts education. He has a B.S. in physics from Tufts University and a Ph.d. in Economics from George Mason University. He was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. His interests lie in the application of agent based simulation and networks to models of economic interactions, great danes, and cooking.
