Sara Elbanna

Research Intern

Sara Elbanna is a graduate student studying Modern Middle Eastern Studies at Oxford University. At Oxford, Sara is involved in research which examines local, non-traditional and non-state environmental governance in the Middle East as a response to government inefficiency and the alteration of state-citizenry relations as a result. Her research interests also include the intersection between infrastructure and biopolitics, political ecology and urban governance. Sara holds a dual bachelor's degree from SciencesPo Paris and Columbia University in social sciences, law and Middle Eastern Studies.
